Alonzo Ganaway is a lifelong resident of DeKalb. He is a 1998 graduate of DHS and has served on the DISD board since 2018. He is married to LaShunda Ganaway and they have 3 children. He is employed with West Fraser and enjoys the outdoors. His vision for DeKalb ISD is “to focus on what is best for all students, and to focus on achievement and help implement policies that will ensure success.”

District 2- Alonzo Ganaway - Elected in November 2018 and re-elected in November 2022.

His term will expire in November 2026.
