What we’re doing!
After the test is completed, we
will be sharing a chapter book, delving into poetry, and studying the art of
acting.
These are others ways of writing that will be useful to the students as
they progress through school.
Science – We are
completing a unit on adaptations of plants and animals. The beginning of May, students will pose a
question,
make a hypothesis, set up
their own experiment, observe and record data, draw conclusions, and share the
outcome
on a science project board.
The final presentation will be judged by judges outside of the classroom. The
object of this
exercise is to expose them to
the practical points of a scientific method, and to prepare them for project
competitions
beginning in 5th grade.
