Many other endangered species at:  www.tpwd.state.tx.us

Your assignment is to choose one of the animals from this list or another endangered species native to Texas.  Once you have chosen your animal, you will need to research to find as much information as possible about the animal.  Find out about the particular characteristics of the animal – physical appearance, habitat, behavior, etc. and to find why this animal is on the endangered list.  Then come up with your plan detailing things that can be done to save this species from extinction.

This information will be presented to the class in a PowerPoint slide show.
